This necklace is made using a borosilicate glass cone beads and sterling silver tassel. It hangs on a 30” stainless steel chain. Classy yet simple! These lovely and unusual beads are 14mm wide and 16mm tall in a hand-formed cone shape. These beads have a tiger-like look to them in the Grand Canyon colorway, which features striated swirls of mahogany brown and ivory-beige, all encased in clear glass.
These beads are carefully and artfully handcrafted of borosilicate glass, the same durable glass as used to make Pyrex products.
Each bead is carefully made and annealed in a kiln at over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit which makes for a stronger more durable bead. The higher temperatures are also responsible for the rich natural colors characteristic of Unicorne glass beads I use. Please note that due to the handmade nature of these beads the color may vary slightly from the photo.
